Maria Naccarato

Maria Naccarato is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). Before entering massage therapy school, Maria completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Queen’s University. Throughout her studies, Maria had a keen interest in anatomy and the human body. Upon completing her degree, Maria was introduced to the world of manual therapy.
Maria worked for 6 years as an instructor of gross anatomy and physiology at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She also worked as the lead instructor at Bryan College, where she was responsible for the course curriculum and coordination of the program.
Maria is the former Manager of Course Development and has remained with Dexterity PD as a Project Management Consultant. Maria owns and operates a full-time massage therapy practice.
DEXTERITY PD COURSES
As one of the founders of Dexterity PD, Maria created one of our very first course titles, which has since been reviewed and updated. This course provides a detailed overview of the anatomy and physiology of the peripheral nervous system, which is a recommended introduction to the Manual Techniques – Compression Syndromes series.
Maria also collaborated with Dexterity PD to create an Aromatherapy Certificate Program, consisting of two courses. The first course provides a comprehensive overview of aromatherapy and details twenty commonly used essential oils. The second course teaches the manual therapist various ways of integrating essential oils into treatment and associated professional considerations.
Maria also collaborated with Dexterity PD to create a course designed to help manual therapists answer the many questions that they have when embarking upon their careers.
