Massage Therapy
The State of North Dakota requires the following to obtain a Massage Therapy License:
- Successful completion of a minimum 750 hours approved massage therapy program
- Successful completion of a national licensing exam (MBLEx, NCBTM, NECTM, or NCETMB)
Massage Therapy Licenses are granted for two years.
Odd-number licenses expire February 28, 2023. Even-number licenses expire February 28, 2024.
Continuing Education Information
Massage License renewal requires the completion of 24 CE. A maximum of 10 CE may be earned online.
The State of North Dakota accepts courses for continuing education hours from providers approved by the NCBTMB.
