Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy is governed by the Montana Board of Massage Therapy, a board of the Montana Department of Labor & Industry.
The State of Montana requires the following to obtain a Massage Therapy License:
- Successful completion of a minimum 500 hours approved massage therapy program
- Successful completion of a national licensing exam or state exam deemed equivalent (MBLEx, NCETMB, NESL, NCETM)
The renewal date for all Massage Therapists is August 31 of each year.
Continuing Education Information
The State of Montana requires Massage Therapists to complete 12 CE every two years.
The State of Montana* accepts courses for continuing education hours from providers in the CE Registry.
