Massage Therapy
The State of Kentucky requires the following to obtain a Massage Therapy License:
- Successful completion of a minimum 600 hour approved massage therapy program.
- Successful completion of a national licensing exam (i.e. NCBTMB, MBLEx, NCAA, NBCA, Ohio Massage Therapy Licensing Exam, State of New York Massage Therapy Licensing Exam).
Continuing Education Information
The Massage Therapist License requires the completion of 12 CE hours per 2 years for renewal. Of the 12 CE hours, 3 CE hours must be in Ethics.
The State of Kentucky* accepts courses for continuing education hours from providers in the CE Registry.
