Continuing Education Information
The State of Iowa requires a minimum of 16 CE hours per biennium. A biennium is a two-year period beginning with the date the license was granted.
Of those 16 CE hours, a minimum of 8 CE hours must be hands-on training. A maximum of 8 CE hours may be independent study.
Those licensed for the first time are not required to complete continuing education as a prerequisite for the first renewal of their license.
The State of Iowa* accepts courses for continuing education hours from providers in the CE Registry.
Dexterity PD is a proud Approved Provider with the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB). Our courses are available and listed in the CE Registry. Course completion records are stored in the national Massage Therapy Licensing Database (MTLD) for permanent recording.
*Please confirm with your state as the list of states that accept courses through CE Registry may change.
