Rashad La Touche
BA Kin, RMT
instructor
Rashad La Touche, a Registered Massage Therapist since 2016, discovered his calling through a combination of his passion for athletics, movement, and a genuine desire to assist others. Graduating with a BA in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2014, Rashad was a dedicated student and a member of the Men’s Football Team, showcasing his commitment to sports.
Drawing from his extensive background in athletics, Rashad infuses his practice with a wealth of knowledge acquired over years of active engagement in sports. His treatments reflect a belief that the body is inherently designed for movement, a principle he seamlessly incorporates into his therapeutic approach.
Rashad’s skill set encompasses various modalities, including Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM), fascial release, KT taping, and active/passive release techniques. Rashad brings his wealth of knowledge to patients and clients across the GTA with La Touche Mobile Massage.
Beyond his proficiency in these techniques, Rashad brings a unique perspective to his practice, having served as an instructor at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy (CCMH) for three years. His instructional role allowed him to impart his specialized understanding of the human body, enriching the learning experience for his students.
Rashad has collaborated with Dexterity PD to create a wealth of therapeutic exercise courses. Each course focuses on a particular condition to assist the massage therapist in prescribing appropriate home care exercises to their patients.
