The State of New York* requires the following to obtain a Massage Therapy License:
A Massage Therapy License is issued for life. However, those licensed must register every three years at the time of the initial registration date to continue in active practice.
Massage Therapy registration renewal requires the completion of 36 CE every three-year period of renewal. A maximum of twelve hours may be acceptable as self-instructional course work.
The State of New York* accepts courses for continuing education from providers approved by the NCBTMB.Â
